1. Overview
Welcome to AgrentPOS.
AgrentPOS is a point-of-sale (POS) management application ("App") operated by INVOVANE COMPANY ("we," "us," or "our"). AgrentPOS helps businesses manage daily operations including items, sales, inventory, customers, and loyalty programs — all from one intuitive interface.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the AgrentPOS mobile application. By downloading, installing, or using AgrentPOS, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference and forms part of these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the App. For assistance, contact us at support@agrentpos.com. These Terms apply to all users, including registered users and guests.
2. Communications
We may send you service-related communications that are necessary for the operation of your account, including:
- Account notifications (registration confirmation, OTP verification codes)
- Billing reminders and subscription renewal notices
- Security alerts and account activity notifications
- App update notifications
- Payment reminder push notifications for scheduled financial obligations
Marketing communications (newsletters, promotional offers, product announcements) are only sent if you have explicitly opted in. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by contacting support@agrentpos.com. Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related communications.
3. Purchases and Payments
AgrentPOS offers paid subscription plans available for purchase through the Google Play Store. By making a purchase:
- You authorize AgrentPOS and Google Play to process your payment through your Google Play account.
- You represent that you are the authorized user of the Google Play account used for payment.
- You agree to provide true and complete information for any purchase.
All payments are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing, which is PCI DSS compliant. AgrentPOS does not collect, store, or process your credit or debit card details. Payment data is handled entirely by Google LLC pursuant to their privacy policy and terms of service.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel transactions suspected of fraud or unauthorized activity.
4. Subscription Plans
AgrentPOS offers two subscription tiers: a Free Plan and a Premium Plan. Current plan features, usage limits, and pricing are displayed within the App and on the Google Play Store listing. Plan details may be updated from time to time - always refer to the in-app Pricing screen for the most current information.
Free Plan:
- Available to all users at no cost
- Includes core POS features (point of sale, items management, inventory, customers, loyalty)
- Subject to usage limits on certain record types as displayed in the App
Premium Plan:
- A paid plan billed on a monthly or yearly cycle
- Removes Free Plan usage limits
- Unlocks additional features as listed in the App at time of purchase
- Pricing varies by region and is displayed in your local currency on the Google Play Store
New users start on the Free Plan. You may upgrade to Premium at any time through the App.
Auto-Renewal: Premium Plan subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged through your Google Play account.
To cancel your subscription:
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
- Tap your profile icon > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.
- Select your AgrentPOS subscription.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the on-screen instructions.

Upon successful upgrade to the Premium Plan, a confirmation email is sent to your registered email address.
AgrentPOS reserves the right to modify subscription plans, pricing, or features at any time. For material changes affecting paid subscribers, we will provide reasonable advance notice via in-app notification or email.
Service Limitations and Downgrades:
- Free Plan users who reach usage limits will be prompted to upgrade.
- Downgrading from Premium to Free reinstates Free Plan usage limits. Records exceeding those limits will not be deleted but access may be restricted until resolved.
5. Guest Mode
You may use AgrentPOS without creating an account by continuing as a guest. In guest mode:
- Your data is stored on our servers linked to an anonymous session ID tied to your device.
- Guest mode provides the same features as the Free Plan.
- If you sign in with Google or register with an email, your guest data is automatically migrated and preserved under your new account.
- If you clear the app's data, uninstall the app, or change devices without signing in, guest data cannot be recovered.
We strongly recommend signing in with Google or creating an account to permanently protect your business data.
6. Business Data Disclaimer
AgrentPOS is a point-of-sale and business management tool. It is NOT a licensed financial advisor, tax advisor, accounting system, or legal advisor. Specifically:
- AgrentPOS does not provide financial advice, tax guidance, or accounting services of any kind.
- All business records within the App reflect only the data you manually enter.
- AgrentPOS does not verify the accuracy, completeness, or correctness of your business records.
- Sales calculations, inventory estimates, and loyalty point computations are for operational tracking purposes only and may not reflect exact regulatory or accounting figures.
- You are solely responsible for all business decisions you make, regardless of information displayed in the App.
- Always consult a qualified licensed professional (accountant, tax advisor, or lawyer) before making financial, tax, or legal decisions.
AGRENTPOS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ANY LIABILITY ARISING FROM YOUR RELIANCE ON APP DATA FOR BUSINESS, FINANCIAL, OR OTHER DECISIONS.
7. User Accounts and Responsibilities
Account Creation:
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use AgrentPOS.
- You represent that all information you provide during registration is true, accurate, and complete.
- Incomplete or inaccurate information may result in account suspension or termination.
Google Sign-In:
- By signing in with Google, you authorize AgrentPOS to access your Google account's basic profile (name, email address, and profile photo) solely for account creation and identification.
- We do not access any other Google account data beyond what is necessary for authentication.
- Your use of Google Sign-In is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Account Security:
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and device.
- You must notify us immediately at support@agrentpos.com if you become aware of any unauthorized use of your account.
- AgrentPOS is not liable for losses arising from unauthorized account access due to your failure to maintain account security.
Password Reset:
- If you forget your password, you may request a one-time OTP code sent to your registered email address.
- OTP codes for password reset are 6 digits, expire after 10 minutes, and are rate-limited to 5 attempts per minute.
- OTP codes are encrypted in local storage while pending verification and deleted immediately after use or expiry.
Prohibited Uses:
You agree not to use AgrentPOS to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes on third-party rights.
- Impersonate another person or entity.
- Engage in any activity that could harm, disable, or impair the App or its servers.
- Use automated systems, robots, or scrapers to access the App without our express written permission.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
8. Google Drive Integration
Premium subscribers may connect AgrentPOS to their personal Google Drive account to store financial documents (receipts, invoices, bank statements, tax documents, contracts, proof of payment, etc.).
When you connect Google Drive:
- You authorize AgrentPOS to access only the files it creates within your Drive ("drive.file" scope). AgrentPOS cannot access, read, or modify any other files in your Google Drive.
- Documents are stored in a dedicated "AgrentPOS_Documents" folder in your Drive.
- You own and control all documents stored in your Google Drive.
- You are responsible for maintaining sufficient Google Drive storage space.
- You must comply with Google Drive's Terms of Service.
AgrentPOS is NOT responsible for:
- Google Drive service outages or downtime.
- Loss of documents due to Google Drive or Google account issues.
- Your Google account suspension or termination.
- Documents deleted from your Drive outside the AgrentPOS app.
Document Deletion:
- Deleting documents within AgrentPOS also removes them from your Google Drive. This is permanent and cannot be undone by AgrentPOS.
- Disconnecting Google Drive leaves your documents in your Drive but makes them inaccessible via AgrentPOS. Document metadata is retained for record-keeping purposes.
You may revoke AgrentPOS's access to your Google Drive at any time via Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com > Security > Third-party apps with account access.
9. Push Notifications
AgrentPOS uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications for:
- Scheduled payment reminders for recurring financial obligations.
- App and service alerts.
We do not send unsolicited marketing push notifications.
To opt out of push notifications, adjust your device's notification settings for AgrentPOS at any time. Note that disabling notifications will stop payment reminder alerts.
10. Document Management
AgrentPOS supports uploading financial documents to your Google Drive (Premium plan).
- Supported document types: receipts, invoices, bank statements, tax documents, contracts, proof of payment, quotes
- Supported file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP (images); PDF (documents)
- Maximum file size: 5 MB per file
Privacy Protection - Automatic EXIF Metadata Removal:
AgrentPOS automatically strips all EXIF metadata from uploaded images before storage, including:
- GPS location coordinates (latitude/longitude)
- Camera make, model, and settings
- Original creation timestamps
- Photographer copyright information embedded in metadata
- Camera serial numbers
- Software used to edit the image
This automatic stripping protects your privacy. You should still manually review images before uploading to ensure no sensitive information is visible within the image content itself (e.g., visible documents, ID cards, addresses, or identifiable people).
You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload any documents you submit through the App.
11. Phone Contacts Permission
AgrentPOS may request optional permission to access your device's phone contacts to assist with form auto-fill when creating records.
How contacts are used:
- To pre-fill contact information (name, phone, email) from a specific contact you manually select.
- Contacts are accessed only when you explicitly initiate the import feature.
What we do NOT do with contacts:
- We do NOT automatically upload, store, or share your full contacts list.
- We do NOT access contacts in the background or without your action.
- We do NOT use contacts for marketing purposes.
This permission is entirely optional. You may deny or revoke it at any time through your device settings without affecting any core App functionality.
12. Intellectual Property
AgrentPOS and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in and to the App, including its design, code, features, functionality, and content (excluding data you enter).
You retain full ownership of all financial data and documents you enter or upload into AgrentPOS. By using the App, you grant AgrentPOS a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to store, process, and display your data solely to provide the Service to you. We have no other rights to your data.
Without our prior written consent, you may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any part of the App or its content for commercial purposes.
Feedback:
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about AgrentPOS, you grant us an irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use such feedback without any obligation or compensation to you.
13. Analytical Services
We may use third-party analytics services (PostHog) to monitor and evaluate how the App is used in order to improve features and user experience. When analytics are enabled:
- We collect anonymous usage events (e.g., feature used, screen viewed, subscription action).
- We collect your email domain (e.g., "@gmail.com" - not your full email address) and subscription plan for cohort analysis.
- No personally identifiable financial data is transmitted to analytics providers.
You may opt out of analytics tracking at any time by contacting us at support@agrentpos.com.
14. Third-Party Links
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services not affiliated with AgrentPOS. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site. We recommend reading the terms and privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
YOUR USE OF ANY THIRD-PARTY WEBSITE OR SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. AGRENTPOS SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR LOSS CAUSED BY YOUR USE OF OR RELIANCE ON THIRD-PARTY SITES OR SERVICES.
15. Warranty Disclaimer
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OF FINANCIAL DATA, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
AGRENTPOS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:
- THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE AT ALL TIMES.
- DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
- THE APP SERVERS ARE FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
- FINANCIAL CALCULATIONS ARE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL DECISION.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
AGRENTPOS IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: LOSS OF FINANCIAL DATA, FINANCIAL LOSSES FROM DECISIONS MADE BASED ON APP DATA, SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR THIRD-PARTY SERVICE FAILURES (SUCH AS SUPABASE, GOOGLE DRIVE, OR FIREBASE OUTAGES).
AGRENTPOS'S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM. FREE PLAN USERS' CLAIMS ARE LIMITED TO PHP 500 (OR THE LOCAL CURRENCY EQUIVALENT).
Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
17. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AgrentPOS, INVOVANE COMPANY, and their officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:
- Your use of the App in violation of these Terms.
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Content or data you upload, submit, or enter through the App.
18. Termination and Account Deletion
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice or liability.
You may delete your account at any time:
- Contact us at support@agrentpos.com to request account deletion.
- Upon deletion: personal profile data is removed within 30 days; financial records (expenses, incomes, loans, savings, purchases, payments) are deleted within 90 days; document audit logs are retained for 1 year.
- Google Drive files remain in your personal Google Drive after account deletion and must be deleted manually.
IMPORTANT: Deleting your AgrentPOS account does NOT automatically cancel your Google Play subscription. If you have an active Premium subscription, you must cancel it separately through the Google Play Store (Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > AgrentPOS > Cancel subscription) to avoid future charges. AgrentPOS is not responsible for charges incurred after account deletion if the Google Play subscription was not separately canceled.
After account deletion, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall continue to apply, including intellectual property provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitation of liability.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, including but not limited to the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), the Consumer Act of the Philippines (Republic Act No. 7394), and the Electronic Commerce Act (Republic Act No. 8792). INVOVANE COMPANY is a company registered in the Philippines and subject to Philippine law.
Nothing in these Terms shall deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence. If you reside in the European Union, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, or any jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws, those local laws shall apply to the extent they provide greater protection than Philippine law.
For disputes, you may bring claims in the courts of your country of residence if required by local consumer protection law, or in the courts of Metro Manila, Philippines.
20. Dispute Resolution
In the event of any dispute arising from these Terms, the parties will first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation within 30 days. If unresolved, the dispute shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the laws of the Republic of the Philippines, except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection regulations in your jurisdiction.
21. Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any part of it at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes in advance. AgrentPOS shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
22. Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' advance notice via in-app notification and email before the changes take effect. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
23. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or unenforceable, that provision will be removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of that right.
24. Acknowledgement
BY DOWNLOADING, INSTALLING, OR USING AGRENTPOS, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND OUR PRIVACY POLICY.
